Station
March 13th through April 10th El Nopal Press is proud to present new work by five Los Angeles artists who comprise the art collective Station. Station's multidisciplinary works range from installation and video to drawing, painting, printmaking and photography. The artists in Station work collaboratively as well as individually to create works that push genre boundaries while remaining impervious to categorization. Some common threads shared by the work include themes of reproduction, memorialization, pattern and decoration, as well as an interest in comics and pop culture. At the time of this exhibit, Station includes the artists Michelle Andrade, Lorenzo Hurtado Segovia, Adam Mars, Tucker Neel, and John Weston. In conjunction with the exhibit, Station is also publishing a portfolio comprised of one work by each of the five artists, in an edition of 25. |
